Description
Short Song Description:
Montana winters are magical.
Long Song Description:
I wanted to get the feeling of the first snow, the one that comes down with big fakes, no wind, so it is coming down slow and soft. I was looking out my picture window it was dreamlike, and I began to remember being a child sledding, ice scateing, etc. I wanted to capture the dreamlike state in the intro and come up with a carefree groove that would stretch the length of the song. I wanted to bring in a hint of children at the end, so I put the children singers at the end way in the background.

Lyrics
Let's go out walking, I'll kick the leaves can you smell the smoke from the chimineys
Out on the edges of town, cornfields cut down, the scarecrow's job is over now

(Chorus)
The first snow's coming down, life slows down life as I wish it could be
But I'll take this moment now, the first snow's comming down and it's falling on you and me

White sheets cover the streets and you know, that fall is over
A flock of birds brake the silence, to go where life is warmer

(Chorus)

So let it cover our tracks of yesterday, of yesterday
It's like a new beginning come what may, come what may

The first snows coming down, life slows down, life as I wish it could be
But I'll take this moment now, the first snow's coming down and it's falling on you and me

TAG: Let it snow .....Rosie faces sledding races, children's laughter, falling softly all around me, looks like winter....let it snow.....
